One Minute Cole Slaw

Cole slaw goes well with so many things. I like it with hot dogs, barbeque, or seafood. In this recipe, the slaw tastes slightly sweet. (my fav) Plus, it is very easy to make.

One Minute Cole Slaw

1 (14oz) bag of slaw mix
1 cup mayo
1/3 cup of sugar
2 tbs of white vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix mayo, sugar, and white vinegar. Once it’s mixed evenly add slaw mix then salt and pepper. Refrigerate until you are ready to serve.

Easy No Bake Cheesecake (4 ingredients)

If you like no bake cheesecakes you will love this! My husband prefers the baked kind. He wasn’t impressed, but the kids and I thought it was delicious!  On a scale if 1-10 my 8 year old said it was an 11.      😉

No Bake Cheesecake

8 oz cream cheese
1 tub whipped cream
1 can condensed milk
1/3 cup lemon juice

Set cream cheese out til it’s soft. Mix cream cheese, condensed milk, and whipped cream with a hand mixer on low until smooth. Then, add lemon juice mix for another minute. Pour into crust. (I used a premade) Refrigerate for a few hours, and add topping if you like.

Easy Homemade Biscuits

These biscuits were so easy and these are actually the first I have made from scratch! This recipe is good for freezing. They are vegan as well.

Homemade Biscuits

2 cups self rising flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup of milk

Preheat 375°. Mix all dry ingredients. Slowly pour in melted butter and milk while stirring. When a dough ball forms, put on a floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin. Cut into shapes with a cookie cutter or knife. Bake for 15-18 minutes.

If you are freezing them, stack them on top of eachother separating with wax paper. Then, roll them up in cling wrap and put in a freezer bag. When you are ready cook them, 450° for ten minutes.

Burrito Bake

I found this recipe the other day and could not wait to try it. It was delicious!!! It was very easy to make and cheap. Altogether I spent $6 to make it, and there was plenty for us all.

Burrito Bake

8 frozen burritos
1 can rotel
1 can of cream of mushroom
8 oz of sour cream
1 cup shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 350°. Arrange frozen burritos in a casserole dish. In a separate bowl mix rotel, sour cream, and cream of mushroom. Pour mixture over burritos and top with cheese. Bake for 35-45 minutes (mine took 45) or until bubbly.

I served mine with tortilla chips but spanish rice would be my next choice. 😛

Baked Macaroni and Cheese
