Pineapple Angelfood Cake (2 ingredients)


I have seen this on Pinterest and have been dying to try it. I finally did, and I like it. It is very sweet and has a heavy spongy texture. Some whip cream would go great on top, but it is good without it too. This recipe is also low fat.

Pineapple Angelfood Cake

1 box angelfood cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple

Preheat 350°. Mix cake mix & can of pineapple (undrained). I made mine in a muffin pan & cooked 25 minutes. Done!  🙂


Crock Pot Apple Crisp


I am not sure why they call this a crisp, it’s not crispy. It is delicious, and it smells so good cooking. This can be served as a breakfast, or as a dessert with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream. I have done both.  😛

Crock Pot Apple Crisp

5 apples cored, peeled and cut up (any kind whatever you prefer)
1 cup rolled oats/old fashioned oatmeal
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon of salt
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup of flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup of butter

Melt butter. Mix all ingredients except apples. Spray crock pot. Add layer of apple, then the mixture, repeat. Cook on high 2-3 hours. Stir about halfway through.

It’s very easy to make!

Fruit Salad


This is an easy low fat recipe. It costs less than $5 to make, and it makes a lot. Fruit salad is something that you can use as a dessert for a party, or just to have around the house for a low calorie snack. The jello flavor can be your choice so you can change it up if you want.

Fruit Salad

1 bowl of cool whip
1 16oz container cottage cheese
1 can of crushed pineapple (drained)
1 box of jello (you only need the powder for flavor)

Mix all ingredients with a spoon or spatula. (No mixer) Done!!!

I love this kind of stuff. It was so easy I let my 7 year old make it for our Xmas party. We used cherry flavored jello. Next time I might add some cherries too.   😛
