Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

I made these this morning for breakfast and they were sooooo good! I like anything with cream cheese though. These were also inexpensive and easy (my fav). The kids have already asked me to make them again! At first I didn’t think it was going to be enough for all of us, but it was plenty. I even had 3 leftover.

Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

2 cans of crescent rolls
16 oz cream cheese
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of butter (melted)
1 tbsp of vanilla
Cinnamon and sugar

Preheat oven for 350°. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spray baking sheet and unroll 1 can of crescents. Spread on cream cheese mixture. Top with the other can of crescents. Pinch the outer edges closed as best you can. Put the melted butter all over the top and sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

You could probably serve it as a dessert too. Yummy!  😛

French Toast Casserole

I like to make this on the weekends sometimes the whole thing is gone everytime! Whenever I have bread that I think is fixing to go bad I throw it in the freezer and save it for this recipe. You can eat it plain, with syrup, or a frosting (which I make with powdered sugar). It is also very cheap to make.

French Toast Casserole

5 eggs
1 1/2 cup of milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup of sugar
bread cut into cubes
cooking spray

Spray 8×8 casserole dish with cooking spray. Fill about 2/3 high bread cubes. Mix eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt in a separate bowl. Then pour mixture over bread cubes, cover, and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning preheat oven at 350°. Dot butter on top just randomly, sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar, and bake for 45-50 minutes. Done!

1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
dash of vanilla

Mix altogether until smooth.

This recipe is very easy and it is kind of nice to just get up and throw something in the oven and it’s done.
